Positive: Comfortable and well-appointed self-catering apartment in the quaint town of Asco. The apartment overlooks the valley and town. Amazing scenery. The owner, Marie Jeanne, is a sweetheart. I would stay there again in the blink of an eye.

Positive: Excellent location for magnificient views. Balcony has suberb view for morning and evening sun and majestic mountains. Room (also bathroom) is spacious and fresh. Close to Monte Cinto so you can go there from this hotel very easily. The Road to Monte Cinto is also very beautiful to drive, even If youre not going to climb it, driving this road is worth it.
Negative: Limited restaurant/store options nearby. But its not a big deal, just bring groceries on your way here, and there is still tasty and friendly restaurant nearby and support them please to keep the area in business. But bring some bread etc with you, there is no store in the town.

Positive: Amazing peaceful location, with balcony overlooking the valley. Lovely helpful owners. Comfortable beds, good AC, and kitchenette perfect for preparing simple meals. Restaurant above open Fri/ Sat/Sun and does amazing pizzas! 2 other restaurants the other side of the village. Great apartments for a relaxing stay exploring the Asco Valley. 45 mins drive to Corte.
Negative: Not an issue with the property at all , but do remember to stock up on food at Ponte lecchia as you cannot buy fresh bread or food in Asco. We never found the local epicerie in the village open……
Summary: A great place to stay overlooking the Asco Valley, in the peace and quiet of the mountains.

Positive: A beautiful location with an amazing view of the mountains. Clean apartment with kitchenette, sufficiently equipped for two people. The location is quiet, in a beautiful mountain village. At the time of our stay, the restaurant in the building had been closed.
Negative: Unannounced charges were requested upon arrival. Tourist tax (12 EUR for two for 6 nights) and a fee for cleaning and disinfection due to Covid19 (10 EUR) - I note that we were accommodated in the spring of 2024. At the same time, there is a notice posted in the apartment that it is necessary to clean the apartment before departure, otherwise we are subject to a fine of EUR 20. I understand paying additional fees (even if the Covid cleaning is a bit strange), but what bothers me the most is the lack of transparency of the final price of the stay.
